The club has a very active play schedule, primarily in the mornings and evenings to accommodate retired and working members.
FIXED TEAMS: The club operates primarily on fixed team leagues with some exceptions, noted below. Members can also add their names to a "spares" list to get some additional playing time as substitutes are sometimes required.
SESSIONS: There are 2 prime sessions of 10 games each - Fall (from October to December) and Winter (January to March). The membership fee is fixed for the year, however members may choose to play in only one or both sessions. All leagues have a prize money fee, usually $10, and this is in addition to the league fee.
There is 1 extra session of 5 games – Spring – usually starts in end of March to May. Entry fee is extra.
A & B SECTIONS: If a leagues has the maximum participants, it will operate on a split session where the first 7 weeks are a modified round robin. The teams are then separated into an A Section where the top four teams compete in a round robin for 1st and 2nd cash prizes. The bottom eight or so teams compete in a B Section for 1st and 2nd place in a modified round robin of three weeks. This is designed so that the top four teams do not dominate the prizes and it gives less experienced players an incentive to compete at a more comparable skill level.
LEAGUE LEVELS: Some leagues are considered more challenging for players while some are more suitable for players who are relatively new to lawn bowling or new to indoors and are noted below. All leagues can have players of very different skill levels.
All leagues are open to all genders.
OPEN DRAWS: There are regular open draws on Tuesday and Saturdays at 1:00 pm starting on the first week of October. The fee is $2.00 and will be given out as prizes for the winners.
