PIBC Drop-In Fees and Rules for Visitors
PIBC welcomes bowlers who are non-members and are visiting the city and want to try bowling indoor. You must be a member of a lawn bowling club to bowl at PIBC.
BOOK IN ADVANCE
VISITORS CAN NOW BOOK A RINK IN ADVANCE SO YOU CAN BE SURE OF GETTING A RINK.
To book a rink:
1) Go to our daily calendar to find a time when you can come to bowl. Rinks labelled ‘Available’ are rinks that can be booked. The fee is $15 per person per session (minimum 2 people).
2) Simply email bowlr@pacificindoor.com and let us know what day, session and rink you want to reserve. One of our Bowlr Admin team will book the rink on your behalf and send a confirmation email. There is a $10 administration fee for booking a rink for 2 - 8 people. Note: There must be at least two people in your party to book a rink - we do not reserve rinks for individual bowlers.
TIP: When you email to book a rink, ask about how to get 'free 3 hr parking'.
3) When your rink is confirmed, please etransfer your drop-in fee ($15/person plus the $10 booking fee) to: treasurer@pacificindoor.com and mention the booking info in the etransfer memo
4) Please announce your arrival to the monitor on duty when you arrive.
DROP-IN VISITS
Visitor Fees:

Regular Drop-In Visits: $15 per person per session. Visitors are allowed to participate in coaching, practice or drop-in play (not in league play).

Weekly Pass: $75 per person for unlimited visits for a one-week period. Visitors are allowed to participate in coaching, practice or drop-in play (not in league play).
Please refer to our daily calendar to find a time when you can come to bowl. Look for sessions labelled 'Practice' or 'Drop-In Draws'. The monitor on duty will assist you when you arrive and help you find a rink to practice on.
Please note we have a collection of club bowls available to use.
Principles:

Guests who visit PIBC for drop-in play must be a member of any lawn bowling club either in Canada or worldwide and possess a membership card from a club affiliated with World Bowls.

Guests who are non-bowlers must be accompanied by a PIBC member or bowler from any lawn bowling club either in Canada or worldwide.

All guests must observe PIBC house rules.

Guests must pay a user fee as stipulated by PIBC.

Proper attire and acceptable shoes must be worn (see below).

Guests who bring their own bowls must make sure that the bowls are clean and free of dirt, Grippo-like substance, or other wax products.
Protecting our greens:

Wear proper lawn bowling shoes and/or brand name lawn bowling shoes that are clean and clear of any debris. Change into your clean shoes when you have arrived. If the shoes are deemed non-compliant by the monitor on duty, we have 'booties' that you can wear

Players MUST NOT wear their lawn bowling shoes on the street.

No running on the green

No eating or drinking beyond the yellow line.

No kind of wax/Grippo are permitted to be used as they will ruin the carpet.

Do not use liquid chalk on the bowls.

Do not put wet towels on the carpet.
