André Dufour Wins 2024 Intermediate Singles

After two days of exciting competition between 16 impressive first, second and third year bowlers, André Dufour defeated defending champion David Sullivan to win the 2024 PIBC Intermediate Open Singles. Two first-year bowlers competed for third place after their amazing run ended in the semi-finals, with Anil Khan defeating fellow rookie Joe Chan to claim the 3rd place prize money. Alvin Tse and Philippe Lalonde shared fifth place, with Nathaniel Hui and Suphin Nakutnok finishing 1-2 in the Consolation final.

On Day 1 (Saturday) bowlers were randomly drawn into four groups of four for three round-robin games. The top two of each group moved to Sunday's Quarter-Final knock out round, while the 3rd place finishers advanced to the Consolation semi-finals.
